The Matanuska-Susitna Borough (Borough) Land & Resource Management Division has received a request from the City of Houston (City) to convey the northern portion of Borough-owned parcel known as SW1/4 NE1/4, Township 18 North, Range 3 West, Section 20, Seward Meridian (tax account 18N03W20A006) to the City for a future train depot. The City owns the adjacent property. The proposal is for less than fair market value for a public purpose. Property will need to be subdivided prior to conveyance, the proposed subdivision parcel will be Lot 1, Houston Rail NW Subdivision. Total acreage: 15 +/-.
