The Wasilla Public Pool will be temporarily closed for major maintenance and necessary upgrades starting January 6, 2025. We anticipate that the pool will remain closed for approximately three (3) months. The contract for repairs will be out soon and a reopening date will be approximated after a contract is awarded. This closure is essential to ensure that we can provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all our patrons. The repairs will include replacement of the entire drain system for the deck and locker rooms. Additional upgrades to the filtration and pool basin will take place while the closure in place. We understand that this closure will cause an inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for the disruption in services. Our team will work as swiftly as possible to do the necessary work while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
