Notice of Seasonal Weight Restrictions - Starting MONDAY, MARCH 17, 2025 at 12:01AM until further notice 50% legal axel load for the Core Area extending to the Little Susitna River Bridge on the Parks Hwy and to the Chickaloon River Bridge on the Glenn Hwy. Core area restrictions may also be enforced on city maintained roads in the City of Palmer, Wasilla, and Houston. Contact their Public Works Department for more information.

Axle loading linits are expressed as a percentage of allowable axle weight defined in 17 AAC 25.013. Weight restriction exemptions that apply to ADOT roads also apply to Borough roads. Additional emergency restrictions may be applied. Emergency restrictions will be advertised in the Frontiersman, posted on our website: https://matsugov.us or  be posted on specific roads.
