Some 70 ballots were issued on the first day of absentee in-person voting for the Mat-Su Borough's Oct. 2 election. 

It’s coming up fast. 

Polls are open 7 am to 8 pm on Election day.

You can vote absentee now at a few locations. Take a look at this link on the Borough election webpage: https://www.matsugov.us/elections
