Help Centers

• Help Centers are at the Sunshine Firehall the and Willow Library.
  
  The Willow Help Center is currently open at:
  Willow Library - 23625 W. Willow Community Center Circle.
  Phone numbers 495-2055 and 495-2056
  
  The Sunshine Help Center will be open at 4:30 and is located at:
  Sunshine Firehall - 42488 S Parks Hwy , which is at the Y on Parks Highway.
  Phone numbers are 733-2055 and 733-2056.
• State of Alaska personnel will be available at the Help Centers beginning Wednesday, August 23. The state's emergency phone number previously listed is no longer valid for this flood disaster.

Debris Removal

• Dumpsters will be deployed to several location ns in the affected areas for the disposal of flood debris. As soon as they are in place the location ns will be announced.
• Coupons good for the disposal of flood debris at transfer sites and the central landfill will also be available at the Help Centers.

Assessment

• Arrangements are being made for aerial photography of the affected areas to assess damages.
• Ground assessments continue to be conducted of right of ways, roads, and bridges.
• A contractor has been engaged to provide additional assessment of the structural integrity of borough bridges. From that assessment a plan for repair and timeline will be developed. Approximately sixteen (16) bridges are currently identified for review.
