Talkeetna water testing

ATTENTION TALKEETNA RESIDENTS;

The water plant is flushing the system out with chlorine; expect to see the hydrants discharging water.  We are trying to pull the chlorine thru the system and this is the fastest way possible.   An independent testing lab will be up in the morning and will be testing the system and lagoon.  We will have the results back within 24 hours.  We will immediately post and call the local radio station KTNA to let you know what they are.  Until these independent results are in we recommend that you boil the water 2 minutes. 

The borough is sending up three (3) more pallets of drinking water which will be available at in bottled drinking water is available in Talkeetna at the Warm Storage Facility off Comsat Road off the Talkeetna Spur Road.
