Special Assembly Meeting Called July 6

A Special Assembly Meeting is being called this Wednesday, July 6 at 6pm. Last week Governor Walker sent word that he is reducing bond reimbursements by 25% for FY17.  With these cuts, the Mat-Su Borough can expect a revenue loss of $5.7 million. A three-fourths vote of the legislature could override the cut, The Assembly would like to discuss the potential impacts to the borough in this Special Meeting and establish a course of action.
