Seven candidates file for mayor

MAT-SU—Seven candidates have filed to run for the Mayor of the Matanuska-Susitna Borough. The filing period closed last Friday.

The candidates are :

• David J. Straub
• Talis J. Colberg
• Frank W. Shor
• Steve Menard
• Bruce Walden
• John F. Leiner
• "Butch" Emil A. Fondahn

A complete list of contact information for the candidates is listed in document on right or on the Clerk's web page under elections. The election is June 9, 2009.
