Planning Commission Postpones Monofill Vote

Monday night the Matanuska-Susitna Borough Planning Commission heard lengthy testimony, mostly in opposition, to a proposed monofill dumpsite. Borough staff briefed the Commission for about an hour, and the applicant’s attorney spent some time making a case for postponing to as late as February. The Planning Commission postponed the decision until Dec.19.
