One Stop Shop a Win for McKinley FIre Victims

Mat-Su | Stefan Hinman | Wednesday, September 18, 2019

Mat-Su —A One Stop Shop event took place Monday evening, bringing together numerous agencies, non-profits and small businesses on behalf of the victims of the McKinley Fire. As these people attempt to regroup and find some order in their unsettled lives, Mat-Su Borough Assembly Member, Tam Boeve decided it was too much to expect of these people to run from location to location, tracking down the services they need. She took the next step and put into motion the One Stop Shop at the Susitna Valley Jr/Sr Highschool where individuals could simply walk from table to table and find the information at a single location that could help them on their long road to recovery. This video spotlights some of the agencies and private business who were present to help. Those present but not featured are as follows:

-United Way
