District Chief Ken Farina has crews knocking on doors in the East Talkeetna area instructing people to evacuate immediately, specifically the homes at the north end of Beaver Road. “The Talkeetna River has risen about a foot since this morning”, Chief Farina advised. Anchorage’s Dive Team is en route to assist.
