Landfill Waiver Approved

For individual household debris associated with the 2018 Cook Inlet Earthquake, fees for disposal will be waived at the Matanuska Susitna Borough landfill from December 12th through the 16th.

Fees will be waived at the transfer stations as well but only on their regularly scheduled open days.

We are unable to accept commercial quantities of waste at the transfer sites or Central Landfill without payment. This is defined as more than 5 yards which is about 2 pick-up trucks full.

Commercially generated debris or waste will not be accepted without payment and is at the discretion of the landfill or transfer station.
