Mayor-elect Vern Halter took the oath of office tonight to be the Mayor for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough. Clerk Lonnie McKecknie administered the oath of office to incumbent Assembly Member Barbara Doty and new Assembly Member George McKee. Watch the swearing-in ceremonies here.
