Government Peak Chalet Ribbon Cutting Video

GOVERNMENT PEAK CHALET—Some 200 turned out to celebrate the ribbon cutting for the new 4,000-square-foot Chalet at Government Peak Recreation Area today, Jan. 11, 2014.

The project success came from the collaboration of Wolf Architect, Davis Constructors, Inc., and Mat-Su Borough Capital Projects. The Chalet will be an anchor for outdoor activity at Government Peak, including Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, skijoring, fat tire bike riding, hiking, walking, and more.
