Goals & Challenges of Emergency Services

Bill Gamble, Director of Emergency Services for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough, recently gave the Borough Assembly & Mayor an overview of the goals and challenges of the department. Among them: reducing overtime while still enhancing coverage; capturing revenue from ambulance calls; modernizing the radio alert system; and acquiring a fleet maintenance facility.
