Cedar Hills residents allowed to return

8:15 pm, Nov. 29—Cedar Hills Fire | Patty Sullivan | Thursday, November 29, 2012

Residents are allowed to return to the Cedar Hills Subdivision now, if they carry identification on them. Police are at checkpoints verifying.
Glowing embers will be visible in the fields. Fire officials ask that residents do not call 911 for glowing embers, only call if a fire threatens their home or safety. Residents are asked not to walk into the woods or fields where many hotspots are located.

Three firefighters had injuries: including high blood pressure, possible hypothermia, and embers in the eyes. None are reportedly life threatening injuries.

One vehicle burned. Palmer City's fire engine was burned.

Many departments and some different agencies responded.

Palmer City has a hotline tonight 761-1315
