Budget Public Hearings Conclude

After four days of public testimony before the Assembly, Matanuska-Susitna Borough budget public hearings concluded tonight in Palmer. Budget deliberations were on the agenda following the hearings; however, a motion was passed  by the Assembly to postpone deliberations until May 28. Assembly in favor of the motion wanted more time to absorb the budget amendments before taking any action. Listen to the audio from tonights meeting on this page.
