The 2016 election is certified. Matanuska-Susitna Borough Assembly Members Matthew Beck and Jim Sykes took the oath of office tonight. Canvass Board Chair Gerry Keeling gave the Assembly a report on the canvassing of the record number of absentee and questioned ballots. Mat-Su voter turn out was 28 percent.
