Wind storm wrap-up

PALMER—for now, no 87 mph gusts are expected, however, sustained winds of 30-50 mph are in the forecast for the core area.  About half that speed for the northern Borough areas. The Red Cross had no visitors in their two shelters last night so they will be closing for the time being.  MEA reports 65 homes without power. So, take lessons learned from this weather adventure and stock up on what you found missing - fresh batteries, water, candles, etc.
