Race for Technology

It’s time again to lace up your jogging shoes, polish up the baby stroller, and apply that sunscreen because the 14^th Annual MTA Race for Technology is Saturday, June 26 at 10 a.m. All abilities are invited to participate. Racers start at the Palmer Library and your race choices are: 5K, Youth 1Mile, and Team Challenge! Entry fees are affordable and all proceeds go to the Big Lake, Sutton, Palmer, Talkeetna, Trapper Creek, Wasilla, and Willow libraries.

Awards will be presented to the top five boys and top five girls, top three men and top three women finishers, and the top relay team at the post-race celebration.

This year raffle tickets will be sold prior to and on race day at all public libraries for many terrific prizes ranging from a Mahay’s River Boat trip to a gym membership, and from birch bowl art to a variety of gift certificates.
