Executive search firm to look for next Boroug

MAT-SU— Last night the Assembly for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough agreed to extend the search for a Borough manager by hiring an executive search firm.

The decision comes after a long deliberative interview process in which a list of 60 candidates was shortened to three.

The Assembly deliberated on the matter again last night for three hours before unanimously passing the motion. The motion directs staff to hire an executive search firm to continue the selecting process for the next Borough manager.

Acting Borough Manager Elizabeth Gray continues running the operations of the Borough with full support of the Assembly.
