Water Quality for Greater Butte Subdivisions

Residents in the Windsong and Heritage Park subdivisions are advised to boil their water until further notice.

“If the Knik River flowed through your yard in these subdivision, you should boil your water”, said Shaune O’Neal, Borough Director of Public Works. The ground filters contaminates from the water table, so if your well head wasn’t under water the water is safe to drink.

Coming soon, pickup locations for water test kits. The lab can only test 25 kits a day so water testing will need to be a coordinated process.
