The Matanuska-Susitna Borough 2022 Special Election took place today with a voter turnout of 7.95%. Residents across 41 precincts were given an opportunity to vote on four Ballot Propositions. The results come in from the precincts to the Mat-Su Borough Admin Building where the unofficial result is tallied and posted to the MSB elections web page. Absentee and Question Ballots will be counted once the Canvass Board have completed their process. The latest unofficial results can be found on the Borough Website.

The Canvass Board begins meeting Wednesday to review the Election and to start canvassing the Absentee and Question ballots. Final counting will occur once the board is done canvassing. The Election results will remain unofficial until the Assembly Certifies the Election on July 26, 2022.
