More Flooding in the MAT-SU

MAT-SU—October 6., 2012 As water rises for the second time this fall, the Emergency Services Deputy Director opened the Emergency Operation Center (EOC) again with a skeleton crew. MSB Public Works reports that Yoder Road and Schrock Road at the Little Su Bridge are impassable due to flooding. The River Forecast Center reports that Willow Creek is cresting at the highway and that Montana Creek should be cresting in the next four hours. They are watching the level as it approaches Minor Flood stage. They expect the Talkeetna River to crest and drop within the hour. 

Emergency Services is responding to a call for water over the Old Glenn Highway at Mile 3.
