FY 21 Department Budget Presentations

The Mat-Su Borough Fy21 public budget process took its first step today as Borough Manager, John Moosey and department heads presented their budgets before the Assembly. Social distancing was practiced in the room, with everyone wearing a mask. The directors highlighted successes as well as needs and challenges for FY 21 and beyond. Deputy Mayor, Dan Mayfield and other Assembly Members commended the directors for their work on putting their budgets together and the managing of their departments in this difficult time. 

Public hearings on the FY 21 budget are on schedule but, due to COVID-19, will be held in the assembly chambers with access for the public provided online and by phone. Details are forthcoming.  See the dates below:
