Inmate escapes, schools in lockdown

PALMER—An inmate escaped from the MAT-SU pre-trial facility in Palmer at 8 am this morning.
All schools are in lockdown in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough.

The man is described as white, 44 years old, 6 feet 1 inch in height, 220 pounds. He is wearing a gold jumpsuit.
