Free earthquake seminar Oct. 26, Wasilla

MAT-SU BOROUGH PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING—Are you prepared for the next "Big One?" Learn how you can be from Dr. Peter Haeussler, a U.S. Geological Survey scientist. He'll talk earthquake hazards of the Castle Mountain Fault and in Southcentral Alaska. Lessons from Japan will be shared.

This free seminar is Oct. 26, Wed. at 7 p.m. at Fire Station 6-1, on the corner of Lucille and Swanson streets in Wasilla. The last one was a full house. The seminar is sponsored by your Local Emergency Planning Committee and the MAT-SU Borough Dept. of Emergency Services.
