Dozer line nearly complete on Fire

The dozer line around the Horseshoe Lake Fire was nearly tied in as of 7 pm Sunday, according to Alaska Forestry's Norm McDonald. Several firefighters will be released tonight when the fire line is in place, McDonald said.

See a map of the approximate fire location here. At last count, the Horseshoe Lake Fire was 25 acres.

This will be the last update tonight unless the fire worsens.
