2023 MSB Regular Election Closes

Polls opened Today at 7 a.m. for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough’s 2023 Regular Election and closed at 8 p.m. With a 9.53% voter turnout so far, the total unofficial results have been posted to the MSB website.

There were 1589 Absentee Ballots and 362 Questioned Ballots issued so far.

The Canvass Board will start Wednesday by working to verify results that were called in with the spreadsheet and review ballot accountability reports. Canvassing the outstanding absentee and questioned ballots will come next, with the final step of the ballots being hand-counted. The Election Certification will follow, which is scheduled as a Special Assembly Meeting, Nov. 21 at 5 p.m.
